Exhibitors suppport AIS local charities and Members vote for Best Stand at Show

Exhibitors at the recent INDX Toy & Gift (now INDX Toys) displayed a friendly but competitive spirit by pulling out all the stops to win the coveted Best Stand at Show award. Judged by the AIS membership, our expert buyers were on the look-out for interesting display techniques, exciting prop utilisation and inspiring visual merchandising. Votes were counted and a delighted Depesche took top prize, Daniel Charley received the award presented by the Playroom team (pictured above).

The positive mood continued as generous exhibitors once again donated an array of products to be shared with numerous local charities. Building on previous years success, the Playroom team were thrilled with the response allowing AIS to give back to the local community.  The bounty of donations were boxed up, with larger items being shared between two very deserving charities. Radio Cherwell Radio Cherwell – Hospital Radio in Oxford, will use the donation to provide gifts and prizes to children of the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford.

Neil Stockton, Chair of Radio Cherwell:

"When we visit the children at the John Radcliffe hospital weekly. The donated prizes bring a smile to their faces. They forget their treatment and reason for their hospital stay and their tears turn to smiles when we appear on the scene with these toys."

Also benefiting from this generosity was Birmingham City Mission’s ToyLink 2024, supporting local families in the surrounding area with much needed Christmas toys.
