Your team of Fashion experts have been busy sourcing exciting new fashion brands to add to the Associated Independent Stores (AIS) preferred supplier base, in order to bring our Members the best market-driven selection of merchandise.
AIS is committed to sourcing brands that are both sustainable and commercial, allowing our Members to be relevant and respected retailers for future generations.
So far, in 2023 there have been 15 new Fashion supplier signed up, with many more in the pipeline. Keep reading to find out more about just a few of the brands who have joined AIS over the last five months.
CHALK
CHALK is a family run lifestyle and homeware company based on the South-East coast. Their story began in 2012 with a retail store The Shop, based in Margate’s Old Town, nestled in the chalky coastline and sandy beaches of Thanet, South East Kent.
The classic colours, lovely textures, good quality fabrics and great design are all central to the brands ethos. They believe in designing timeless and high-quality products to stand the test of time.
Chalk bring together the finest materials and stunning designs to create great products for you and your customers to enjoy and love.

The House of Natori was founded in 1977 by Josie Natori, CEO and Chief Creative Officer. What began with creating lingerie on her living room floor truly has evolved into a lifestyle. “Natori is a total concept, a way of life,” says Josie.
In addition, the Company holds licenses for various sub-brands of Natori, including Josie Natori. In 2014, Dana-co launched household brand Skarlett Blue.

Glen Prince
Glen Prince is a British family owned and run fashion brand based in Somerset established in 1990. Father and son duo Paul & Mark Lovell and their team have for the last thirty years grown to become a top British luxury fashion accessory brand sold worldwide.
Glen Prince uses only the finest natural fibres when creating its products, materials are lovingly cultivated to create lifelong luxury accessories.
Sustainability is at the heart of their values. The production Mill in Scotland who manufactures their beautiful products has used natural, renewable, biodegradable fibres since 1797 and are committed to reducing the environmental footprint year after year. Their classic scarves and stoles only use wool that has been Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certified.

In August 2021, a new brand identity was born - Jasper Conran London. The collection is designed with elements at the very heart of his design ethos - contemporary styling, bold colour and outstanding quality.
The range builds on his quintessential aesthetic, featuring a range of carefully crafted dresses, handbags, purses and accessories for women.
Jasper Conran OBE has remained one of the most respected British designers throughout his career, dressing everyone from royalty to the Royal Ballet while stylishly clothing the British public.

Established by best friends and business partners, Rachel and Tracy, Live Unlimited is a female-founded, and led, company that specialises in creating beautiful plus size clothes that fit and flatter.
Live Unlimited is committed to designing high quality, timeless pieces that you will wear season after season. Designed and fitted in-house at our London studio, prints are a huge part of Live Unlimited’s heritage and DNA and can be seen throughout the ranges from subtle florals to statement animal designs.

They are not interested in fast fashion where the planet pays the price, they are passionate about designing high-quality pieces that are versatile and will last. The brand wants you to love and wear their clothes for many years to come and at least 60% responsibly sourced fabrics and fibres.

Ro&Zo
Ro&Zo is female founded and their philosophy is to make all women feel the best version of themselves. The brand aim is to create timeless silhouettes which fit and flatter every woman and make her feel the best version of herself.
Being a sustainable and responsible brand is incredibly important and their sustainability vision is shared with their suppliers with the aim of improving the impact of their product sourcing and manufacturing processes on the environment.
They are very proud that over 75per-cent of their range is made from sustainable fabrics including EcoVero and FSC certified Viscose, 100per-cent Organic Cotton & recycled yarns. All of the packaging is also made from recycled materials - including labels, swing tickets and mailing bags.
