AIS is delighted to welcome Guy Barker (Barkers of Northallerton) and Euan Graham (Sterling Furniture Group) to the Board as Non-Executive Directors.
Guy Barker brings extensive experience in retail operations, buying, and hospitality from Barkers of Northallerton - the independent family department store established in 1882, as well as former experience with Fenwick and Jarrolds.
Euan Graham represents third-generation leadership at Sterling Furniture Group, bringing valuable background in digital transformation, marketing, and commercial buying across its nine-store retail estate.
In addition, Sarah Bianchi, Managing Director and furniture buyer at UK’s longest-running family-owned furniture business, Arighi Bianchi & Co Ltd (Est. 1854), has been appointed Deputy Chair of the AIS Board. Sarah’s deep sector knowledge and long-standing leadership within independent home retail will further strengthen the Board’s strategic direction.
Carl Milton and Robert Lee have stepped down from their roles as Non-Executive Directors. AIS and the Board thank both Carl and Robert for their invaluable contributions.
