Decision to introduce eco-conscious products
In a world awakening to the environmental impacts of fast fashion, the call for change resonates with the brand louder than ever and they are committed to playing their part by gradually introducing more & more recycled, plant based & sustainable fibres to their collections.
How many products in the range are eco conscious?
Peter Gribby first introduced their range of Seawool® knitwear in AW23, followed by their Coolmax Eco Made® sweaters in SS24.
For AW24 they have expanded the Seawool® range to include a variety of different weights and styles, including a bang on trend 3 button knitted polo in a finer gauge.
In addition to this for AW24 they now have shirts made from fully recycled cotton & polyester. Read more on Seawool® knitwear here.
Plans for the future
Going forward Peter Gribby's aim is to work with their raw material suppliers to find more sustainable and innovative eco-friendly practices.
Why should you buy Sustainable?
Sustainability is becoming more and more important in retail for many reasons:
Consumers constantly hold companies accountable for their sustainability practices and are increasingly drawn to eco-conscious marketing.
They are statistically also willing to pay higher prices for ethically sourced goods and more likely to make purchase decisions if a product is environmentally friendly.
