We’ve been busy hosting sensational brand and buying events, catch up on our INDX highlights below.
Over the last few weeks, we have delivered exceptional INDX Woman, INDX Intimate Apparel, and INDX National Menswear Shows. The Shows were packed with engaging talks, catwalks, networking drinks, and exclusive buying opportunities for our Members.
BDA London Trend Forecasting Breakfasts
We are deeply invested in ensuring our Members stay ahead of trends and make smarter buying decisions. This was demonstrated by utilising our strategic partnership with BDA London for SS26, with comprehensive buying guides and live presentations during the INDX Woman and INDX National Menswear Shows. Renowned retail specialists BDA London hosted cutting-edge trend forecast breakfasts, providing expert advice and sharing their industry knowledge. The curated buying guides detailed upcoming styles, staple core pieces - paired with upleveled key trend items. This allowed Members to invest in collections that drive commercial success. All clothing presented came straight from the show floor, making next-level trend buying easier; further tailoring this experience to our Members’ needs. It was fantastic to hear this reflected in the feedback from our Members; “great to see less catwalk fashion, more high street from INDX exhibitors” – Amy, Morley’s. This reinforced why our partnership with BDA London is crucial in supporting our independent business owners, helping them stay ahead in fashion retail.
Intimate Apparel Catwalk
Exhibitor brands were brought to life with live models walking our catwalk at the INDX Intimate Apparel show. The large crowd gave Members an opportunity to share their views on the seasons’ key swimwear and lingerie lines. The catwalk was a hit… although it may have been overshadowed by the free ice-creams also on offer at the show.
Proving the exceptionality of our INDX Shows, one visitor travelled from Nigeria, to network with Suppliers, experience products in person, and discover a plethora of new brands. With exclusive events and specialist lingerie retailers supporting all shapes and sizes, our INDX Intimate Apparel show is a must-visit for our Members.
Networking Drinks
What better way to end a busy day of buying, than at our friendly networking drinks event. Members and visitors were treated to a well-earned drink along with delicious canapes on the Sunday evening of each Show. These events provided an excellent environment for our Members to connect with each other and catch up with our Fashion Team. Our event photographer snapped away at our INDX themed photo opportunity, which we loved seeing Members get involved with!
KATAG AG
Always looking to strengthen our partnerships, we were thrilled to have KATAG AG back for a second season with all three menswear brands and debuting womenswear brands Clarina and The Fashion People. Our partnership with the German Buying Group offers our Members a commercial advantage, showcased in our exclusive Member only KATAG AG showroom, at both INDX Woman and the National Menswear show. The showroom was buzzing with Members order writing, cementing the importance of our partnership with KATAG AG. A huge thankyou to all our Members who bought into the brands and helped make it such a success.
