Bringing Online to High Street at INDX Woman
AIS has partnered with retail giant Freemans Grattan Holdings to unlock an exciting and exclusive new bricks-and-mortar opportunity for AIS members. For the first time, Members can bring a portfolio of successful online-only, own-label women’s fashion brands to the high street - brands backed by an established customer base of over 2 million shoppers.
Head of Fashion James Crabtree comments on this unique partnership
"We are proud to have secured this first-to-market opportunity, enabling Members to extend these high-performing brands directly to their customers. We are happy to see FGH recognise the power of indepedendent retail.”
365 provides effortless everyday solutions, Kaleidoscope's occasion-wear offers customers beautiful prints and sharp tailoring for life’s special events and completing the folio, Together has a timeless contemporary appeal.
The exclusive collections made their debut at INDX Woman Show this week, alongside own label First Avenue. With newness comes excitement and curiosity, and we were overwhelmed by the positive response from Members. The dedicated showroom gave buyers the space and time to carefully select their next season’s pieces. Both the Freemans and our own expert fashion team, were on hand across all three days of the show, adding that extra layer of service and guidance, not provided to visitors.

Steve Harrison, Head of Marketplace at Freemans Grattan Holdings had this to say on day three of the show.
"The response has been significantly ahead of expectations, with Members immediately recognising both the quality of the product and the commercial potential it brings to their business. Together and Kaleidoscope have emerged as the standout hero brands, delivering exceptional quality that rivals many well-known high street names, combined with highly competitive price points."
With a simple showroom presentation, the product was left to speak for itself, and it certainly did. Discussions quickly progressed beyond the planned SS27 launch, with Members expressing interest in securing stock for Autumn/Winter 2026.
Steve continued;
"We met with a significant proportion of the membership, who have shown genuine interest in the brands. All will be included in follow-up activity and invited to a second showcase when the SS27 collection becomes available to order. Over the coming months, we will be visiting stores to gain a deeper understanding of Members' customers and share valuable online sales insights, enabling collections to be tailored to individual markets. Supported by bespoke look-books, AIS retailers will be able to curate ranges that are perfectly suited to their own independent stores and local customer base."
As an organisation, we are always looking at different approaches to sourcing product and developing exclusive brand packages to Members. We are delighted with the response and the positive support we received from buyers across the Membership.
