Associated Independent Stores voted Best Buying Group
For the second year running, Associated Independent Stores (AIS) and its Furniture team are delighted to have won the Best Buying Group category in the Big Furniture Awards, as voted by the furnishing industry.
"Thanks to the incredible support of our members, suppliers, and everyone who voted in the recent industry awards, we're thrilled to have won this award.” Emma Rackley, Director of Home and Furniture said.

With a wealth of industry experience, Emma and the Furniture Team have developed the product category areas by researching market trends, consumer insights, and being ‘out and about’ visiting AIS Member stores and hearing their current experiences and challenges.
Emma commented “The approach we are taking in developing AIS’s offering, including the INDX Furniture Show, allows us to have full insight and awareness of the needs of our Members and Suppliers, and the wider industry. As a result, this allows us to serve up products that meet consumer demands –in terms of both buying patterns and trends.”
AIS will be supporting its members with new products to “excite and entice” at the next INDX Furniture Show, taking place at Cranmore Park on 28-29 August 2024.
“We’ll be showcasing new products through our online membership Hub. We’ll be bringing together trend and innovation-led product showcases across upholstery, living room, dining room, garden, and accessories.” Emma revealed.
She continued “INDX Furniture attracts a high calibre of both visitors and exhibitors – the show is curated by buyers, for buyers, which results in quality conversations and long-lasting business relationships being formed.”
“What also makes our show unique, is that visitors have access to the team’s expertise and advice during the live shows – you will always see the team and I on the show floor talking to Members and Suppliers.”
Running Wednesday to Thursday, the first day of the show will be reserved exclusively for our AIS members, and the team looks forward to welcoming general trade colleagues across on the Thursday.
