With this year marking the AIS Golden 50th Anniversary, we hosted a joint celebration dedicated to our Members and key lingerie Supplier partners at the INDX National Intimate Apparel Show on Monday 27 July. We are so proud of the growth of this category over the last five decades and to honour its success, we felt it was important to commemorate those that made this possible, through long-standing partnerships and the consistent support of AIS and INDX Shows.
The event saw our key partner brands also reaching birthday milestones this year, including Chantelle celebrating 150 years, Triumph and Anita celebrating 140 years, Wacoal celebrating 77 years, Charnos celebrating 90 years and Cyberjammies celebrating 25 years.
Together with our key Suppliers, we were honoured to present industry awards to the below individuals from our Member stores:
Angela Bryanton and team from Morley Stores for The Creative Visionary Award, for Visual Merchandising inspiration that all Members should look to.
Karen Nolan and team from Smith Bradbeer for The Community Impact Award, focusing on every customer’s needs, unwavering commitment to community engagement and making a positive difference.
Lorraine Ryan and team from WH Good for The Fitting Room Legend Award, showcasing an unparallelled standard of technical expertise and commitment to care, precision and customer confidence.
Michelle Barber and team from Barkers of Northallerton for The Legacy and Loyalty Award, recognising the long-standing commitment and invaluable contributions that have shaped and elevated our industry.

Visitors enjoyed complimentary prosecco throughout the day while Member attendees enjoyed a complimentary lunch and entry into a prize draw for a chance to win a spa break. Winner of the prize draw was Emma Wood from Barkers of Northallerton.
The final acknowledgement went to Underlines’ Pamela Scott, an ‘Industry Legend’ who connects brands, buyers, and professionals across every facet of the market, recognised for her invaluable support to the INDX National Intimate Apparel Shows, collaborative spirit and devotion to the sector.
Head of Fashion, James Crabtree shared his delight at the strong turnout of the celebrations:
