INDX – a new name for Independent fashion exhibitions
From early 2013, Independent fashion retailers from all across the UK and Ireland will have a new and exciting choice of Trade Exhibitions to visit to help with their buying and ranging decisions.
The exhibitions will all be held at Cranmore Park, Solihull, just minutes from the NEC, and are organised by Associated Independent Stores (AIS) not only for their own members but also for the benefit of all Independent buyers.
Paula Fowler, the AIS Director of Fashion, is a key driver behind INDX and comments “These shows will be a must in the annual show calendar which, with their particular focus on Independents, will give fantastic opportunities for buyers to meet new and established Brands interested in doing business with them” and goes on to add “in our commitment to the independent trader, INDX shows will aim to be exciting and innovative in their presentation and mix of exhibitors, consistently evolving to keep ahead of an ever changing and competitive market.”
INDX Womenswear & Footwear, to be held on the 12-14 February 2013, will be the first of a collection of exhibitions covering all fashion sectors that, by April, will have embraced lingerie, legwear, fashion accessories and travel goods.
The launch Womenswear INDX show will attract a wide number of leading Brands such as Esprit, Laura Ashley, Seasalt, Jackpot and Sahara and many more appealing to a broad customer demographic. The second INDX show on 19-21 March for Intimate Apparel will have well over 60 lingerie and legwear exhibitors including Triumph, Playtex, Charnos, Aristoc, Gossard and Wonderbra.
For all the INDX shows, exhibitors and visitors will enjoy the relaxed environment with great on site facilities and, in the second half of the year, the scope of INDX will be widened to also include mens and childrens’ wear giving a total of 10 specialist INDX shows in a 12 month period covering all key buying seasons.
The INDX exhibitions are complementary to the bigger UK and international shows but much more intimate and targeted particularly at indies rather than multiples. For such buyers, there is no doubt that they should include INDX on their show visit schedule.
Details of all the upcoming shows can be found at www.indxshow.co.uk along with lists of exhibitors and free online pre-registration.
